Year 2009!

We had our CG countdown at Pan Pacific on the 31st Dec 2008. Had pizzas, KFC, sushi, red wine, baileys, non-alcoholic champagne and one suitcase full of packet drinks.




Here's how we stacked up the packet drinks in the super small fridge.


The presents for gift exchange.


There's too many of us to try to gather and fit into a photo.. so only a few of us took a picture with the presents.


My first award for 2008-The SPARKLING award: Whenever we drink a bottle of sparkling juice, we feel refreshed and charged up, that's exactly how we feel when we meet these members. Their sparkling, uplifting and great attitude is precious to the CG. Your attitude determines your altitude.


My second award-Anything & Whatever Drink award: For these people, "anything" , "whatever", you give them, ask them and tell them also CAN. Their can-do attitude says it all.. Never fails to make things happen! (I can only make things happen when others make it happen with me! Thanks to all those who make things happen together with me.)


Since it's the last day of the year 2008, how could we not appreciate our wonderful leader, Wendy??!!! So we presented her with some balloons and a patchwork cushion specially designed by Jaslin and sewed by her grandma!


It really took lots of Jaslin's effort. She's one of those that I want to share my Anything & Whatever award with. If not for her great idea, encouragements, willingness to travel all over Singapore to collect the fabrics from most of the members. I am amazed by you friend!!! Thanks also for always driving me home after a tiring day. I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Here's my 2 fight-alongside-comrades!


We also celebrated Mervyn Goh's birthday! 1st Jan! So cool!


So we ended the day playing BIG 2. We "rewarded" the loser of each round with the leftover food. So in the end we finished all the food and 1 bottle of red wine. Only Jaslin, Eunice, MK and I stayed overnight at the hotel. We slept at about 6 am and I woke up at 10plus to soak myself in the bathtub!!!!! Before soaking, I bathed at the shower room. The shower room is sooooo steady! Made me feel like I'm in the rain. SHIOK to the max! I regretted not taking some pictures of the wonderful bathroom.. That will be my dream design for my house in the future. =D

So the year 2008 ended just like that and we are now in the new year! New year and a better year for all of us!!!
